Hello all and here is today's featured meditation. This meditation is one of the newest that I have written and have decided to release sooner. I will warn you all that this meditation is not suited for work nor is it suited for anyone who is offended easily by profanity. Sometimes we can be so overwhelmed by our thoughts and emotions that we struggle to use our coping skills. What I have found when this happens, is that I need a shock to my system that will cause me to focus on what that shock is long enough to be able to use my usual skills. This can be done in a variety of ways. I'm not a fan of sour, spicy, or bitter foods so eating one of these types of foods can be helpful. I almost can't help but focus on how the food tastes. Listening to loud music that has a strong, fast beat can be helpful. When I play it loud (of course not loud enough to disturb someone), I find that the music can make it hard to focus on the thoughts running through my head. Power walking through the park, while may look a little scary to others, has helped me out a few times as well. And lastly, I will sometimes get "mad" at myself for letting the feelings get to be too much. I'll use swear words and tell myself to just stop. It's weird to me that this works and when it does, I oddly feel better and am no longer mad at myself. This is what this meditation is about. It's to send a shock to your system to get you to focus on something else. I also wanted to write a meditation that was just way different from any other meditation that I have seen. This meditation does have profanity in it and words that I have said to myself before. Again, please do not listen to the meditation if you are offended by profanity. Otherwise, please enjoy it and try not to take it too seriously. I hope you enjoy this mini meditation. Please comment below what imaginative elements you added to the meditation. Also, let me know if there's anything you would like for a mini meditation. You guys are awesome!!
