Hello all and here is today's featured meditation. This meditation is inspired by all the times I have sat at a campfire, staring at the flames, and getting lost in the depths of the embers. Fire can be very soothing for some people and that is why I have written this meditation.
The idea with this meditation is to imagine the intruding thoughts and emotions as fuel for the fire. You must feed the flames with what ever is concerning you at the moment. Some imaginative elements: What are your surroundings like? What time of day is it? Is your fire surrounded by rocks or in a fire pit? How big does your fire get?
